Through images and descriptions Distinctive Interiors endeavours to give as accurate a representation of products on this web site as possible but cannot be held liable where slight variations in colour or sizes occur. Prices displayed include VAT. Distinctive Interiors reserve the right to change prices at any time without notification.

Distinctive Interiors endeavour to ensure all prices are correct. If an error is detected after you have place an order and if a product's correct price is lower than the stated price, we charge the lower amount and send the product. If a product's correct price is higher than the stated price, Distinctive Interiors will, at their discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Although Distinctive Interiors tries hard to ensure availability of all products on sale on occasions some items becomes unavailable. We will notify you by email should we have difficulty in fulfilling any or part of your order.

Delivery on all items is free within UK mainland with the exception of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. For a quote please call 01484 681696.

Distinctive Interiors aim to deliver all orders within 2-3 weeks however some goods are hand made and/or hand finished and as such incurs longer lead times (6 weeks). For estimated lead times on specific products please call 01484 681696

For security purposes all purchases of products from this web site are processed through the RBS WorldPay secure payment gateway. Distinctive Interiors do not collect or store any information relating to the details of your credit/debit card. Cheques are accepted as an alternative form of payment but goods will not be released until funds cleared.

Your Order
Once the payment process has been completed a confirmation email will be sent. Your order represents an offer to purchase products from Distinctive Interiors. Distinctive Interiors will have been deemed to accept your offer once a “Dispatch Confirmation E-mail” has been sent. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed in a Dispatch Confirmation E-mail to have been dispatched, do not form part of that contract.

Please check lead times and availability before placing orders. Refunds given due to time scales shall incur any costs / fees incurred by Distinctive Interiors.

Refunds and Returns
a) Unwanted Items/Incorrect Delivery
Customers in the European Union are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of seven business days commencing the day after delivery. However Goods are not sold on a trial basis. Please make sure that the item you are ordering is suitable for what you intend. Some goods supplied by Distinctive Interiors are handmade and hand painted and therefore Distinctive Interiors cannot accept any responsibility for slight variations in colour, size or shape.

Goods which have been ordered or delivered incorrectly will be accepted for return with prior approval from Distinctive Interiors. Returned goods will only be accepted if they are appropriately packed in the original packaging, complete with instructions where appropriate and have not been used.

Goods that have been marked cannot be returned therefore, please do not damage the goods whilst you inspect them (this also includes the packaging where if forms part of the goods, for example, boxed items. You must ensure that you return the original undamaged packaging along with the items/s you are unhappy with.

Carriage charges for returning any unwanted goods to Distinctive Interiors shall be the responsibility of the customer. Distinctive Interiors reserves the right to levy a restocking fee of 20% of the net goods value with a minimum charge of £20.

b) Items Received Damaged on Delivery
Goods should be inspected on delivery and damage to outer packaging should be notified immediately to the delivery driver. An internal inspection of the goods should be carried out and any damages notified to Distinctive Interiors within 24hrs of receipt. Distinctive Interiors will then arrange for collection of the damaged goods within 7 working days.

Goods being returned remain our property however, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of our goods and if relevant, any packaging, whilst they are in your possession. Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the Goods, Distinctive Interiors reserves the right to refund you in full, less amounts due by way of compensation to either repair the goods or to cover any loss.

Please ensure you return the original packaging along with the item(s) you are unhappy with.

c) Items Under Warranty
Goods which become defective within the guarantee period should be notified to the appropriate authority in accordance with the guarantee. Distinctive Interiors should then be notified.

Distinctive Interiors shall be under no liability if the defect or failure arises from accidental damage, wilful damage or misuse, negligence by the customer or third party, failure to follow the manufactures instructions, or alterations or repairs to goods without prior notice from Distinctive Interiors.
